The blade is made from hand-forged carbon steel with a hardness of 57 HRC. Its distinctive blade shape makes the Tarik particularly effective for chopping tasks. The Njord Tarik comes with a handmade black leather sheath featuring a belt loop. Its design is inspired by the Viking era, when knives and chopping tools were essential everyday tools for wilderness work, hunting and fishing.
