The PGD LW SA (Lightweight Standalone) is a high-performance SAPI hard armor plate built for users who need rifle-rated protection without the weight penalty of traditional plates. Made in Europe and shaped in a multi-curve profile, it’s designed to feel like a natural extension of your body—helping maintain mobility and shoulder/arm freedom.

As a standalone (SA) plate, it provides full protection without requiring additional soft armor.

Multi-curve SAPI cut for comfort and range of motion

The multi-curved design follows the torso, reduces pressure points, and improves comfort during extended wear. The SAPI cut helps keep your arms clear for weapon handling and movement.

100% HPPE build: light and multi-hit capable

Constructed from 100% HPPE (High Performance Polyethylene), using quality materials from Honeywell and Dyneema to keep weight down while supporting multi-hit resistance. HPPE can also handle rough handling and drops better than many ceramic solutions.

Cordura cover + foam protection layer

A liquid-repellent Cordura cover helps protect against water, oil, and similar liquids. A foam layer adds protection against impacts such as being dropped, helping preserve ballistic integrity.
