Use the divided main and bottom compartments to separate gear (e.g., sleeping bag or dirty laundry). Two large zippered side pockets plus an open channel behind them can hold tent poles. Gear loops on the lid, front and side pockets, plus base compression around the perimeter, make it easy to attach extra equipment.
